
From the Watertown School District: Following the Governor’s recommendation to close schools for students the week of March 16-20, the Watertown School District will be closed. All facilities will be off-limits to students and the public beginning at 6:00 PM tonight until Monday, March 23rd. This will include practices as well as school activities and outside use of our facilities. Conditions will continue to be evaluated during this week in the event there would need to be a need for further closure to students and the public.

#WISArrows 5th grade just finished up their one-point perspective aquariums in art. They learned that one-point perspective means the artwork only has one vanishing point. A vanishing point is where the parallel lines of a realistic area converge on the page to show depth.

Watertown School District Preschool Screening
Date: April 3, 2020
Location: Garfield Special Services
This screening is for children who reside in Watertown, and turn 4 on or before September 1. Students will qualify for programs based on screening scores, and/or household income. If you have any developmental concerns for your child including speech/language, motor or cognitive please consider attending the screening.

From the Watertown School District: The Watertown School District will start two hours late on Thursday, February 13. All morning practices and activities will also start two hours late.

Due to school being cancelled Wednesday, February 11, team 6A Greek Olympics will be rescheduled to Thursday, February 20 from 9:00-11:00 in the Arrow Zone.

6th grade students created a proportional figure in the traditional ancient Egyptian stance. Their god/goddess represented a topic of their choosing. They used hieroglyphics to adorn the cartouches in the background.
