
The Watertown School District is hosting an open house for the public to stop and see Roosevelt Elementary on Monday, May 20th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. Please join us for a look around before the school year is out.

WIS Families - a reminder that if your child has any prescription medications (including inhalers) at school, you will need to pick it up on the last day of school (May 22) by 12:30 or make arrangements with the nurse. Anything left will be disposed of. You may reach out to the school nurse with any questions. Thank you!

WIS Families: at 10:30 AM today, there was a practice drill for a "stay put" lockdown procedure. This is done yearly in compliance with state law. Stay put procedures may be used for medical emergencies, safety concerns, or to account for all kids at a given time. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

There will be an informational meeting for parents and families of incoming 5th grade students tomorrow night, May 7, at 5:30 PM at the Watertown Intermediate School. This is a non-mandatory informational meeting only.

Due to a scheduling conflict, the 5th and 6th grade band concert is changing to Tuesday, May 14, at 6:00PM. It will be hosted at Watertown Middle School.

WIS--For 6th Grade Parents Only: Mrs. Taschner, one of the counselors at WMS, was at the Intermediate School today to start the middle school transition process! Please take a look at the packet your child received for information about classes, clubs, and activities at the middle school. Most importantly, please CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW to choose your child's music option. Once all of the music registrations are complete, we will be sending out a short video about the transition to the middle school. WIS Family - It may come up as a topic of conversation over the weekend, so to be clear; there was a sensor that triggered a false alarm fire drill today during lunch time. Students and staff did wonderful in handling the situation, and we were able to get everyone back in and back to lunch in great time.

Reminder that there is a PTO meeting today at 12:15 at WIS! All are invited and welcome!

WIS - Just a reminder that February 15th is an early dismissal (12:30) with conferences to follow from 1-8. There is also no school on Friday, February 16.
