ππ¦ Banana Split Celebration in Mrs. Wientjes' 3rd Grade Class! π
Mrs. Wientjes' third graders put their math skills to the test and earned a sweet reward! π¨ The class celebrated with a banana split party after mastering their multiplication facts up to 12! π For every level they conquered, they earned a piece of their banana splitβstarting with the bowl and spoon, scoops of ice cream, toppings, and of course, the banana! ππͺ These hardworking students showed determination and perseverance, and their hard work paid off in the most delicious way! Way to go, 3rd graders! Keep up the fantastic work! π¦

π Mrs. Struckmanβs 2nd Graders: Erosion Engineers! π
Mrs. Struckmanβs second-grade scientists put on their engineering hats this week as they explored ways to prevent erosion! ππ‘ In their Erosion Engineering lesson, students designed and tested multiple solutions to keep water from washing away a hill made of cornmeal. Through hands-on experiments, teamwork, and creative thinking, these young engineers discovered the power of problem-solving and how we can protect our environment. π±π§ Way to go, 2nd graders! π

At Lincoln Elementary, we are lucky to have some truly incredible paraprofessionals who go above and beyond every day to support our students and staff. Today, we want to give a special shoutout to two of them.

Mrs. Clarkβs first graders had a blast reading Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss! After enjoying the classic story, they got creative and made their own versionsβadding fun twists and silly ingredients! We love seeing our students excited about reading and storytelling!
