❤️ Lincoln Elementary Kid’s Heart Challenge ❤️
Lincoln Elementary is participating in the Kid’s Heart Challenge, and we need your help to reach our goal of 30 students completing Finn’s Mission! Families can make charitable donations online to support the fight against heart disease and stroke. As a thank-you, students who participate will receive Lifesaver League Super-Dogs, a fun reminder to take care of their hearts and help others. Fundraising is not required to participate—students can still sign up to learn hands-only CPR, an important life-saving skill. Even better, if enough students simply sign up, Lincoln Elementary will earn $500 worth of PE equipment, whether or not families fundraise. Please consider supporting this important cause by signing up today and helping our students learn how to keep their hearts healthy while helping others. - https://www2.heart.org/site/TR?company_id=542041&fr_id=12398&pg=company

Mrs. Moeller’s music class was hard at work again, making music both fun and engaging. Students participated in a “Double Double” partner activity where two players faced each other and coordinated their movements to the beat while chanting the song together. This hands-on activity helped students practice rhythm, timing, and cooperation while enjoying the joy of making music as a team. 🎶

Keeping it in the Lincoln family! 👏
We recently had a special substitute at Lincoln—Carter Schmidt stepped in to sub for his brother, Parker Schmidt! Both Schmidt boys are proud former Lincoln Elementary students, which made it extra fun to welcome Carter back to the halls where it all began.
We love seeing our Lincoln alumni return and give back to the next generation of students!

📚✨ Library Time Comes to Life at Lincoln! ✨📚
Our librarian, Mrs. Schulte, has a special way of making stories unforgettable. Through the use of props, costumes, and puppets, she brings books to life and captures students’ imaginations during library time.
Her creativity helps students connect with stories, builds a love of reading, and makes the library a place students are excited to visit. We are so thankful for the joy and enthusiasm Mrs. Schulte brings to learning every day!

What happens when you give 2nd graders cookie cutters, dough, and a whole lot of creativity? 🍪✨
Mrs. Struckman’s class had a blast rolling out Christmas cookie dough and decorating their cookies with care and excitement. From shaping the cookies to adding festive decorations, students enjoyed every step of the process. It was a fun, hands-on activity that brought plenty of smiles and holiday cheer to the classroom!

🎬🚗 Cardboard Cars & Classic Movies! 🚗🎬
Mrs. Hanson’s 3rd grade class put their creativity to work by constructing their very own cars out of cardboard boxes. After the builds were complete, the classroom transformed into a drive-in movie theater.
Students climbed into their handmade cars and enjoyed watching the 1964 version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. This engaging activity combined creativity, teamwork, and a little bit of classic holiday fun.
What a memorable way to learn and celebrate together!
