More 2nd grade Dinner and Movie photos:

McKinley had some students earn dinner & a movie this week. These kids displayed LUNCH expectations L-listen U-use your manners N-noise is low C-clean up your area H-hands and feet to yourself. Great job Colts!

The 3rd/4th grade music concert is tonight! Parents, please have your child in their classrooms by 6:15/6:20 tonight. Thank you!

More Market Day photos!

Friday was "Market Day" in First Grade! Each student was in charge of selling a good or service and took turns "purchasing" things at the market.

The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who visited the office and Mrs. Pieper's classroom on Friday. What a fun surprise for the kids as they celebrated Grinch Day by wearing green that day too!

Happy Thanksgiving from McKinley to you! We will not have school tomorrow, Thursday or Friday this week for the Thanksgiving holiday.

McKinley parents living in the SE part of Watertown - Beginning Monday, November 29th the bus (#88/Olaf) will begin transportation for the SE part of town. It will be parked on the north parking strip of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (1800 East Kemp) at 8:00 am to pick up students, and will be back at 3:50 pm for drop off.

The McKinley “Little Free Library” is in need of books to share. Feel free to put any books you are no longer using in the little library box located at the south end of the school by the Kindergarten/1st grade doors.
A Little Free Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book. They function on the honor system. You do not need to share a book in order to take one. If you take a book or two from a little library, try to bring some to share to that same library, or another in your area, when you can.
Thank you!

Mr. Neale has challenged the students to a "Race to Disney World"! Every week, they total the number of laps they run to see how far they've traveled. Last week they had enough laps to reach Missouri Valley, IA. This week, they've added enough to make it to Watson, MO! If they reach the goal, they will have a Disney theme week during PE. Way to stay active kids! #letsgoCOLTS!

Enjoy your long weekend. No school on Friday, 11/12/21. Thank you!
