On Friday, the wild wonders of Sioux Falls Great Plains Zoo rolled into Mellette with their zoo mobile! Students got an up-close-and-personal look into the animal kingdom, complete with some scaly high-fives. A huge shoutout to the Great Plains Zoo for a wildly fun adventure!
Last week was School Psychologists Week, and we hit the jackpot with Ms. Fodness at Mellette! Huge thanks for everything you do for our students! We are so lucky to have you! 💜

Mrs. Zepeda's 4th-grade class just completed an engaging science experiment filled with fun and learning! The students designed their very own amusement park rides, called "The Twisto-matic." They then challenged themselves by testing these creations in various ways to enhance the excitement and discover the science behind thrill rides!

In Mrs. Bakken's class, a positive atmosphere prevails, thanks to a house system that encourages positive behavior. September's champs, Team Quantum, scored a special treat with Mrs. Bakken—they got to unleash their inner artists by painting their own pumpkins!
