π Grade 1 Gingerbread Fun! π
First graders at Lincoln had a blast creating gingerbread houses this week! With the help of parents, grandparents, and third-grade helpers, this festive activity brought holiday cheer to the classroom. What a sweet way to celebrate the season! π

πβ¨ Christmas cheer is in the air! Mrs. Struckmanβs 2nd-grade students got creative by making, cutting out, and decorating their own Christmas cookies. Each cookie is a festive masterpiece! Great job, 2nd grade! π

π¬π Drive-In Fun in Mrs. Hanson's 3rd Grade Class! ππ¬
Mrs. Hanson's 3rd graders transformed cardboard boxes into creative cars for their very own drive-in movie theater! After designing and decorating their vehicles, the students "drove" in to enjoy a festive viewing of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Their excitement and creativity were off the charts! What a fun way to kick off the holiday season!

Our very own 4th-grade teacher, Mr. Schmidt, and Superintendent Jeff Danielsen brought the holiday spirit to Lincoln Elementary with their fun and festive Christmas outfits! π

Our amazing 4th-grade students recently completed a Christmas service project, collecting donations for the Beacon Center to help families in need during the holiday season. This year, Lincoln Elementary's 3rd-grade classes chose to make the season extra special by forgoing a traditional gift exchange and instead collecting donations for the Humane Society. From pet food and toys to blankets and treats, our students are helping bring comfort and joy to animals in need. πΆπ± This act of kindness reflects the true spirit of the seasonβgiving and caring for others. Thank you to our thoughtful students, families, and teachers for making this happen! Together, weβre making a difference. π

Mrs. Olson's 4th-grade class is diving into history with engaging discussion groups about the Roman Empire! It's amazing to see our young historians bring ancient history to life through teamwork and curiosity! Great job, 4th graders! π

Special Visitors in the 1st Grade Classroom! ππ§
First graders had an extra special lesson thanks to the Lake Area Medical Assistant Students! They taught the importance of proper handwashing and showed the kids just how important it is to wash those germs away. π§Όπ¦ Students got to test their handwashing skills in a fun and interactive wayβthey spread "fake germs" on their hands and then checked under a black light to see how well they cleaned up. Spoiler alert: some kids discovered they needed a little extra scrubbing! A huge thank you to the Lake Area Medical Assistant Students for this engaging and educational experience. Our students loved learning from you and are now ready to tackle germs like pros!
