Class of 1958 - 65th Class Reunion
September 15 & 16th 2023

On Friday September 15th join us for an informal get together at the prop starting at 5pm. On Saturday September 16th we will take a class picture at 11am at the Codington County Museum Steps. A social starts at 4:30 and buffet starts at 6pm at the Elks

Class of 1968 - 55th Class Reunion
August 18th & 19th 2023

On Friday August 18th join us at the prop starting at 4pm and Saturday August 19th the social starts 5pm and the buffet starts at 6pm at the Elks

Class of 1973 - 50th Class Reunion
June 29th- July 1st, 2023

REUNION PLANNING GUIDE  

Dear Reunion Planning Committee Members,
The Arrow Education Foundation(AEF) is also the WHS Alumni Association. We maintain and update an alumni database, and the Foundation website. Twice a year we publish and distribute the WHS Alumni and Friends Newsletter.

Here are some ways that we(AEF) can assist your committee in reunion planning:

  • Provide a class list of names.  

  • AEF will label, stamp and mail postcards/envelopes.  AEF will provide labels and envelopes if needed.  Class to pay postage for mailing and to supply AEF with postcards or letters.*

  • AEF will post reunion information on the AEF website: www.arroweducationfoundation.org

    and Facebook page.

  • Send a class email to those we have email addresses on file.

  • Place reunion information in the May & November newsletters (info needed by April/Oct).

     * Please give us two weeks to provide database lists, notices and labels. 

Additionally, the Foundation can:

  • Provide information about the work of the Foundation at your reunion or gathering

  • Calendar of Events - For a calendar of events look up the Chamber of Commerce, www. watertownsd.com, www.allWatertown.net, or call 605-886-5814.

  • Camping - Reserve a camp site 90 days prior to arrival by going on www.campsd.com or calling 800-710-CAMP (2267)

  • Class picture sign -The sign to be used in class pictures ("WHS Class of ’??”) can be scheduled by contacting Brian Bollinger, WHS Maintenance         Supervisor at 605-882-6316 or email Brian.Bollinger@k12.sd.us

  • 2nd Street Station - is located in Downtown Watertown and hosts events of all types. The team at

    2nd Street has over 30 years of experience. They have also recently undergone renovations.

  • Dakota Sioux Casino -

    It is located just a little outside of Watertown and has banquet space

  • Elks Lodge - It is located just minutes from Downtown on Kemp Ave. They have a great outdoor seating area with beautiful views of the Big Sioux River

  • Golf - Schedule a golf outing at Cattails Crossing Golf Course.

  • Goss Opera House Tour - If these walls could talk, the stories they would tell! We invite you to create your own history at the Goss. Schedule a tour to see the beautifully restored Goss Opera House.

  • Group picture - Reserve a time to have your group picture taken on the steps of the Codington County Heritage Museum.

  • Homecoming parade float - Entering a float in the Arrow Homecoming parade can be arranged through the WHS Principal, Patty McClemans.

  • Hotels - The Watertown Convention and Visitors Bureau will provide information about the city, lodging, and more.

  • Joy Ranch - Located just a few miles outside of Watertown. Joy Ranch is a one-of-a-kind destination with

    great scenery and rustic vibes. This is a very unique venue with flexible catering options.

  • Meeting and banquet rooms – visit www.watertownsd.com and select "Meeting/Convention Facilities” for a listing of meeting and banquet facilities, seating capacity and phone numbers.

  • North Shore Chophouse and Banquet Hall - is a laid-back restaurant and bar off the shore of Lake

    Kampeska, offering lakefront space for an enjoyable indoor/outdoor event. Stunning lakeside views and flavorful food. At North Shore Chophouse and Banquet Hall, they pride themselves on great food, an amazing drink selection, and a comfortable, inviting atmosphere

  • Visitors packets - The Watertown Convention and Visitors Bureau will provide goodie bags with Watertown info, local coupons, and information about       events planned during your reunion.

  • Park and Recreation – For information on Watertown Park and Recreation facilities and calendar of events.

  • Picnic shelter - The Watertown Park and Recreation office can reserve a picnic shelter for you at Bramble Park.

  • Redlin Inspiration Site tour - Take a self-guided tour of Terry Redlin’s nine Inspiration Sites. Find the map in Watertown Now magazine in newsstands at   local restaurants and convenience stores.

  • Swimming - Reserve the Family Aquatic Center.

  • Veteran’s Memorial - Guided visit to the Veteran’s Memorial, located at Stokes-Thomas City Park (City Park at Lake Kampeska).

  • Watertown Event Center & Ramkota Hotel - is Watertown’s only full-service property offering

    accommodate events of any size.
